Narcissism - Part I

Join Dirk Willner to gain valuable insights into the workplace dynamics that can be significantly affected by interactions with narcissistic staff or bosses. In this video, Dirk explores current research and resources to better understand the impact of narcissism in the workplace, focusing on how these experiences may affect clients who refer to such trauma. The video also outlines proposed strategies for recovery, based on related research findings.

With more clients reporting experiences of workplace trauma linked to encounters with narcissistic colleagues, this webinar dives deep into the existing literature on the subject. Dirk summarises the main research findings, exploring the psychological effects of working in such environments and how they can negatively impact mental health. He then presents evidence-based strategies to help clients move towards recovery, equipping counsellors with tools to support clients dealing with these challenging dynamics.

Dirk Willner, a graduate in Counselling and Psychotherapy with a Level 2 ACA qualification, brings his extensive experience to this presentation. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Ministry and a Bachelor of Theology. Dirk’s expertise in understanding and addressing workplace trauma, particularly in relation to narcissism, provides an essential resource for practitioners supporting clients in similar situations.
