By enrolling in courses or becoming a member of the Clinical Counselling Center (CCC), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your participation in courses and your membership with CCC.
Terms and Conditions for Course Enrollment and Membership
1. CPD/OPD Course Enrollment and Membership Agreement
By enrolling in courses or becoming a member of the Clinical Counselling Center (CCC), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your participation in courses and your membership with CCC.
2. Course Enrollment
2.1. Courses are available for enrollment on a per-course basis. You can choose to enroll in a specific course by making a one-time payment of $55 per course.
3. CCC Membership
3.1. CCC offers a 12-month membership subscription that provides access to multiple courses and benefits.
3.2. Membership can be acquired through:
4. Membership Cancellation
4.1. If you opt for the monthly payment plan and decide to cancel your membership within the first month, you agree to the cancellation rates as per clause 4.3.
4.2. If you choose to cancel your membership after the first month, you agree to pay either:
4.3. Money Back Guarantee for Membership Cancellation: If you decide to cancel your membership within the first 30 days after signing up, and you have not completed more than one course or earned any points during this period, you will be eligible for a full refund of your membership fee. Completing two or more courses or earning points during the membership period will disqualify you from this specific refund offer, as it indicates active participation in the program. You will be charged as per the fees in clause 4.2.
5. Commencement and Termination
5.1. Your membership and access to courses commence upon CCC's issuance of course login details.
5.2. CCC reserves the right to terminate your membership and access to courses if you violate these terms and conditions or engage in any improper conduct.
6. Refunds
6.1. Refunds for course enrollments will be granted if an application for cancellation is submitted within 14 days of confirmation of enrollment.
6.2. Refunds for OPD workshops and courses will be provided as follows:
6.3. No-Shows for Supervision Workshops: No-shows for live workshops or courses are not eligible for refunds, but all relevant materials will still be made available. CCC may, at their discretion, arrange for no-shows to be transferred to a future training. This transfer may be subject to availability and may also incur an admin fee.
6.4. Refunds for Supervision Training: Refunds may be available for requests that are made no later than 14 days before the commencement of the training, but will be subject to an administration fee of $90 to cover the costs incurred with registration for the training. Refund requests submitted within the 14-day period will be considered under extreme circumstances but may still be subject to deductions as per our terms of agreement with the venues. As per clause 6.5, CCC does not offer refunds for issues pertaining to peak bodies.
6.5. Acceptance by Accrediting Bodies: While CCC endeavors to list courses that meet the requirements of accrediting bodies, acceptance by specific peak bodies cannot be guaranteed. In the event that a peak body does not accept the training listed by CCC due to reasons beyond CCC's control, no refunds will be issued. CCC will provide support to participants in appealing the decision, and alternative solutions may be offered at CCC's discretion. This extends to all supervision programs and professional development workshops. Our listed supervision programs are currently accredited by PACFA. As ACA does not formally accredit supervision training, the RISE UP Model of Supervision Training is designed to meet, and continues to meet, the requirements needed to become a member of the ACA College of Supervisors as outlined in the current ACA Supervision Policy & Scope of Practice. ACA members will need to meet ACA's other criteria for full eligibility, and should check those criteria with the ACA prior to enrolment.
7. General Terms
7.1. By enrolling in courses or becoming a member, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy and any Fees & Charges documentation provided.
7.2. CCC reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you through the CCC website or other appropriate means.
7.3. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and CCC and supersede any prior agreements, written or oral.
Please review these terms and conditions carefully before enrolling in courses or becoming a CCC member. Your continued participation indicates your acceptance of these terms.
8. Supervision Training
8.1. The RISE UP training is organised and delivered by independent, externally approved supervision training providers not by the Clinical Counselling Centre (CCC).
8.2. Course participants are required to purchase and read "The Practice of Clinical and Counselling Supervision" (2017, Australian Academic Press) to meet pre-course reading and assessment criteria. The book can be purchased directly from the publisher by emailing stephen@australianacademicpress.com.au.
8.3. Participants should inform the facilitator in advance if there is any part of the workbook or manual that they consider triggering and do not wish to engage with during the workshop.
8.4. Participants must not mislead the facilitator or any RISE UP licensed trainer about any of their credentials, qualifications, or capabilities. Engaging in such misleading may result in the certificate of attainment not being granted.
8.5. Participants must be present for the entire duration of the three days to be eligible for the hours training requirement. If a participant must leave the training early, they may inquire with the facilitator to join the next available date to complete the missing hours; however, an administrative fee of $100 will apply.
8.6. Participants must at all times act in a professional manner congruent with their scope of practice and code of ethics from their respective peak bodies.
8.7. RISE UP trainers have the right to refuse entry or to remove participants if they are deemed to be disruptive or abusive towards the organizers or other participants.
9.1. CCC takes every reasonable measure to ensure the accuracy of information in promotional materials, advertisements, and website content. However, in the event of an error, omission, or misprint regarding course offerings, fees, or membership benefits, CCC reserves the right to correct the error and update the relevant details.
9.2. If you have enrolled or purchased a course or membership based on an incorrect promotion or price due to an error, CCC will notify you promptly and provide an option to proceed with the correct terms or receive a full refund.
9.3. CCC is not legally obliged to honor promotions that contain evident pricing or benefit errors, provided that corrections are made and communicated in a timely manner.
