Certificate of Attainment in Individual & Group Supervision - Online PACFA Extension for Existing Supervisors
This program is designed to be delivered to ACA members wishing to be recognised supervisors with PACFA or for those members transitioning membership.
The extension for 14 hours of supervised practice is delivered in small groups online, on Zoom, at a time that is negotiated with the group. It runs over a 3 month period after the initial 3-day face-to-face training is completed for an additional $660.
The PACFA extension, or part two, of the Rise Up supervision training completes the additional PACFA synchronous online learning component to meet the PACFA supervision training requirements. The is accompanied by 14-hours of supervised practicum. This program is delivered over three months.
Certificate of Attainment in Supervision PACFA
A competent Clinical/Professional Supervisor for counsellors and psychotherapists should be able to conduct supervision sessions using various supervision interventions, provide effective evaluation and feedback to supervises as well as address the ethical and legal considerations of supervision.
Professional Standards:
The RISE UP Certificate of Attainment in Professional Supervision, including the PACFA extension, has been designed and endorsed by PACFA as the training component required for application to the PACFA College of Supervisors.
Course participants will need to purchase and read “The Practice of Clinical and Counselling Supervision” 2017, Australian Academic Press to meet pre-course reading and assessments criteria. The book can be purchased directly from the publisher by emailing: stephen@australianacademicpress.com.au
