Introducing Andrew Priaulx from Assist Counselling. With a rich background in education and school administration spanning three decades, Andrew embarked on a new journey in 2023 to become a counsellor. Committed to lifelong learning, Andrew holds multiple degrees in education and law, and is nearing completion of a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Australian Institute of Family Counselling (AIFC).
Transitioning to Counselling is Andrew's focus in this engaging online seminar. Reflecting on his personal journey from educator to counsellor, Andrew explores the motivations behind his career shift and the fundamental role of "People Helpers" in the community. Drawing from his deep connection to Queensland's Fraser Coast region, Andrew shares insights on balancing professional growth with personal commitments, including the establishment of his private practice, Assist Counselling, set to serve the community from late 2024.
